CJ-
All he could think about one person a name he heard recently along with news that made him shiver.
"why'd you do it"
"why in such violent way"
"This crazy idea" he thought maybe they were trying to solve his murder before the police, "could someone actually do it... no" he concluded and continued to work.
-Committed the murder?
-Character seems shaky, very suspicious/paranoid
-Why did you kill Mr. Evans? How did you get away (ish) with it?
-Elaborate on motives of killing. CJ is a doctor (?) so why would he murder anyone? Also make sure to give insight into the emotions of the character.
Cleo
- “As I began to organize pictures of the crime scene on a giant board inside of my apartment I began to wonder: Who the hell is Leclerc? And is he willing to work with me?”
- We learn that Cleo isn’t a licensed detective and that she feels not respected in the detective community.
- Conflict or business with Leclerc. Conflict that she can’t work on the case well because she isn’t a licensed detective.
- “Why do you feel the need to solve the murder of Mr. Evans?” “What mysteries have you solved in your past?”
- I want to see Cleo find some hard evidence or clues, pertaining to Mr. Evans murder. I also want to see what skills or special insights that Cleo has. What makes her special?
Joseph Ward
- Copy and paste a sentence
While he was at work, he thought about how lucky he was to have Mr. Po in his life. When he first moved to Pointe Place at 18 years old, Joseph was young and naive, but Mr. Po always came by his apartment to make sure he was doing ok, often coming with a bowl of noodles or a cup of tea for Joseph to enjoy.
- What new insights, information, development from blog 1 to 2 (avoid plot)
Joseph has a meaningful relationship with Mr. Po, an old man who helped him when he first came to Pointe Place
- Identify conflicts/tensions and has it developed
Not really any new conflicts
- Two questions you would ask the character
- Suggest something specific for the next blog
