    1. It had been a while since I had really decided that it was a good idea to drink in large quantities, but tonight seemed to be as good as an opportunity as any. Besides, if anything went wrong, I had that comforting little weight tucked in on my right hip...
    2. We learn that this crime is as personal as it has ever been for Pierre, it seems like personal attachment is something that Pierre has never had to deal with before this crime.

  • Tyson Nautic: 

"Wearily, he headed toward Jumping Beans looking for a cure. Snippets of song lyrics and drunken conversations rose to Tyson's awareness causing him to cuss himself for yet another night wasted. He looked down at his stomach and said a silent prayer to his liver, "thanks for not killing me yet."
